Cancellation Policy Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the deposit unless stated otherwise. Payment of deposit is either by credit card, cash or cheque. Deposit required is 50% of total tariff. Deposits will either be refunded or exchanged for another booking period if appropriate notice of cancellation is provided to Rod and Marielle Porter. Cancellations within 7 days of expected arrival, the full amount of your booking quoted will be forfeited UNLESS all dates can be rebooked for the same value. Appropriate notice is two weeks. In exceptional cases for short notice cancellations with cause, we endeavour to exchange your booking for another stay subject to availability. In all other cases, deposits can be forfeited at the owners’ discretion. A $50 admin/bank fee will be charged for any refunds issued per cottage/apartment. In the case of group bookings, deposits will generally not be transferred to another date, unless initial dates are otherwise filled.
Minimum Stay Policy For long weekends e.g. Melbourne Cup, Labour Day, Queen's Birthday, Hot Rod Weekend, May Gala weekend, there is a minimum stay of 3 nights. For Easter minimum 6 nights. New Year minimum 7 nights and Australia Day/AUDAX weekend minimum 5 nights.
All attempts will be made to facilitate your requested Cottage or Apartment . But this may be changed in order to facilitate bookings, or in any unforseen circumstances. Please specify if your request CAN NOT be altered for special needs.
